THE ROLE:
Our clients are looking for Lead Service Designers to join their team.

ABOUT YOU & THE ROLE
As a User Researcher, you will be working on the NHS App, playing a critical role in shaping user-centred, evidence-based service design. You will sit within a multidisciplinary team, driving user research best practice and ensuring that research aligns with broader service goals and delivery plans. The position involves a mix of qualitative and quantitative analysis, usability testing, and stakeholder management to influence strategy and embed user-centred ways of working across the project.

  • Strong background in conducting both qualitative and quantitative user research

  • Proven track record of leading user-centred, evidence-based service design

  • Expertise in usability testing, research synthesis, and generating actionable insights

  • Experience driving and assuring user research best practice within digital teams

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence strategy and service priorities

  • Knowledge of embedding user-centred ways of working across multidisciplinary teams

SOME THINGS YOU’LL BE WORKING ON

  • Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative research for the NHS App

  • Perform usability testing and synthesise findings into clear, actionable insights

  • Lead user-centred service design to ensure the platform meets citizen needs

  • Align all research activities with overarching service goals and delivery plans

  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders to influence service priorities

  • Champion and embed user research best practice across the wider delivery team
