THE ROLE:
Our clients are looking for Android Developers to join their team.

ABOUT YOU & THE ROLE

As an Android Developer, you will join an engineering team focused on building and maintaining high-quality mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver robust solutions that meet client needs. The role requires strong knowledge of Android development principles and a commitment to writing clean, scalable code.

  • Proven experience in Android application development using Kotlin and Java

  • Strong knowledge of the Android SDK and how to accommodate different screen sizes

  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

  • Understanding of Android design principles and interface guidelines

  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

  • Nice to have: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing

SOME THINGS YOU’LL BE WORKING ON

  • Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

  • Integrate applications with outside data sources and APIs

  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance

  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency
